Subcontracts
Welcome to the Supplier and Contractor Portal for the Pueblo Chemical Agent-Destruction Pilot Plant (PCAPP).
Bechtel National, Inc. (BNI) heads an organization collectively known as the Bechtel Pueblo Team, which was selected by the Defense Department’s Assembled Chemical Weapons Alternatives (ACWA) program in 2002 to design, build, operate and close the Pueblo Chemical Agent – Destruction Pilot Plant. The plant will use neutralization and biotreatment to destroy projectiles and mortars containing 2,600 tons of mustard agent, about eight percent (8%) of the U.S. chemical weapons stockpile. The project is estimated to last about ten (10) years at a cost of approximately $1.6 billion.
As the prime contractor, BNI will provide project management, safety, quality, design engineering, procurement, subcontracting, construction, and business services. Other team members are:
Washington Demilitarization Company
